As a new website, we intend to grow in an equitable and responsible manner by welcoming a variety of writers with different backgrounds to contribute, discuss, and ultimately solve urban issues. While this website is urban planning based, we do not have one particular focus. Feel free to submit an article pertaining to any of the topics or tools found on this website. So far, we have focused on Culture, Economy, Environment, Government, Justice, and Politics.
Please try to write your article in the third person and stay neutral as much as possible (if you would like to write an opinion article, please specify that in your message).
Here are our suggested formatting guidelines:
Title: Should be informative.
Intro: 3 to 4 lines for an introduction paragraph. Remember to summarize what your article is going to be about.
Main Body: Try to keep the paragraphs relatively short. A general rule of thumb is less than 150 words per paragraph.
Closing: Wrap it all up with a summary. Make recommendations, offer insights, call to action, or provide trend speculation.
Bio: Please include a bio with your submission. This will be 4 to 5 sentences highlighting your background, interests, etc.
